Day 5: Still Dreaming About That Motorhome**
it’s day 5 of thinking about motorhomes and honestly, i can’t stop picturing it. i keep scrolling through listings, comparing layouts, and imagining what it would feel like to wake up somewhere new every morning.
i know i want something small enough to handle solo, but big enough to feel like a real home. i’ve got a list of non-negotiables now: a comfy bed, some storage for art supplies, and a space to just sit and breathe. i’m already mentally rearranging the furniture in vans i don’t even own yet.
this whole process is making me realise how much i want to make this happen, not just for the adventure, but for my own mental health. the idea of having my own space, on my own terms, is starting to feel less like a dream and more like a plan.
still got a lot of research to do, but i’m excited. if you’ve got any tips or know any good motorhome deals, let me know.

Our Story Unfolded
The Van Dream is more than just an onl
Hi, I’m Liane ! I’ve created this space to share and fund a personal dream—buying and converting a van into a cosy little escape for weekends, holidays, and spontaneous adventures with my wife and our pets.
This van isn’t just about travel; it’s about freedom, healing, and carving out peaceful moments away from the noise. After everything we’ve been through, building this van ourselves feels like a way to reclaim joy, creativity, and control over the life we’re building together.
Whether you're here to follow the process, offer advice, or support the project in any way, thank you. Every bit of encouragement means the world and brings us one step closer to the open road.
